The Great Give 2023

The Great Give 2023 is a community-wide giving event benefiting nonprofits in the Greater New Haven area and is taking place May 3^rd through May 4^th. This annual giving event provides local nonprofits with the opportunity to raise awareness for their work and raise funds to help support their missions.

As a participating organization, SARAH Inc. is grateful to be a part of this important movement again and receive support from generous donors for our programs. When you make a gift to SARAH Inc. during The Great Give, your support will positively impact the lives of more than 1,700 children and adults in your community. Individuals and families receive personalized, life enhancing services through SARAH Inc. KIDSTEPS Birth to Three, Adult Services Enrichment, and Adult Services Employment programs.

Who you are supporting

Organizations that are participating are verified 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofits, such as SARAH Inc., or have a 501(c)(3) sponsor and that are headquartered and/or provide services in at least one of the twenty Connecticut towns served by The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven. These towns include: Ansonia, Bethany, Branford, Cheshire, Derby, East Haven, Guilford, Hamden, Madison, Milford, New Haven, North Branford, North Haven, Orange, Oxford, Seymour, Shelton, Wallingford, West Haven, Woodbridge.

Donation requirements

Any individual with a valid credit card, bank account or mobile wallet (Google Pay, Apple Pay, Microsoft Pay) and access to the internet may donate; individuals must be responsible for the credit card, bank account or mobile wallet used and be authorized to use it.

What forms of donation are accepted?

Accepted forms of donation

Contributions may be made via MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express credit and debit cards; mobile donors may use Apple Pay, Google Pay or Microsoft Pay. Donors may also input banking information for electronic transfer for funds. Credit and debit card gifts as well as mobile wallet gifts and electronic transfers are eligible to receive matching funds (see Terms of Service for more details).

When can I donate?

Advanced giving begins April 28th

Advance gifts can be made for The Great Give beginning April 28, 2023; advance gifts will count toward match calculations, but will not be counted toward hourly prize incentives. Donation pages will remain open until 11:59 p.m. on May 7. No prizes or matches will be awarded on gifts made after 8:00p.m. on May 4.
