We Need Your Support

The Great Give 2022 is a community-wide giving event benefiting Greater New Haven’s nonprofits and is taking place May 4-May 5, 2022.

Back again for it’s 13th year, The Great Give is an event that helps local nonprofits advance community awareness about their work and increase giving to their organization. As a participating organization, SARAH Inc. is excited for this opportunity to engage with the communities we support and raise funds.

Supporting SARAH Inc.

From birth to three years old, to a person’s first job interview, to retirement – SARAH Inc. is there for the people and families who receive our services. The continued success of our organization would not be possible without individuals and families we help, our incredible staff, and your community support.

We are proud to be providing supports to more than 1,400 children and adults throughout Connecticut. We have one of the largest Birth to Three programs in the state providing services to 50 towns throughout Connecticut. KIDSTEPS employees accompany families in community based settings such as parks, doctor’s office, child care centers to to support a child’s daily activities. SARAH Inc. also offers in-home, day support, transitional, and employment services for adults with differing abilities. You can often find our staff and the people who receive our services out volunteering, working, and engaging with their local communities on a weekly basis.

Of course providing high-quality services to this many people does not come without it’s financial demands. SARAH Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, so the generosity of our donors contributes to our continued success. All donations that we receive from The Great Give will go directly towards our programs and will help transform the lives of those who receive our services.

Who you are supporting

Organizations that are participating are verified 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofits, such as SARAH Inc., or have a 501(c)(3) sponsor and that are headquartered and/or provide services in at least one of the twenty Connecticut towns served by The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven. These towns include: Ansonia, Bethany, Branford, Cheshire, Derby, East Haven, Guilford, Hamden, Madison, Milford, New Haven, North Branford, North Haven, Orange, Oxford, Seymour, Shelton, Wallingford, West Haven, Woodbridge.

Donation requirements

Any individual with a valid credit card, bank account or mobile wallet (Google Pay, Apple Pay, Microsoft Pay) and access to the internet may donate; individuals must be responsible for the credit card, bank account or mobile wallet used and be authorized to use it.

What forms of donation are accepted?

Accepted forms of donation

Contributions may be made via MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express credit and debit cards; mobile donors may use Apple Pay, Google Pay or Microsoft Pay. Donors may also input banking information for electronic transfer for funds. Credit and debit card gifts as well as mobile wallet gifts and electronic transfers are eligible to receive matching funds (see Terms of Service for more details).

Advanced giving has begun

Advance gifts can be made for The Great Give beginning April 25, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. Advance gifts will count toward matches and grand prize calculations, but will not be counted toward hourly prize incentives. The Great Give Event will run from 8:00am May 4th 2022 through 8:00pm May 5th 2022.
