What is Essex Savings Bank’s Community Investment Program?

SARAH Inc. is excited to be included on the customer ballot in Essex Savings Bank’s Community Investment Program this year. Each year Essex Savings Bank pledges to donate up to 10% of its after-tax net income to non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations and community development projects operating in the towns of Chester, Deep River, Essex, Lyme, Madison, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook and Westbrook.

Sounds great! Can anyone vote in this?

If you are a customer of Essex Savings Bank you are eligible to vote for up to three of your favorite non-profit organizations beginning February 1 through February 28, 2021. A customer will be defined as any person having a loan, deposit account or safe deposit box with the Bank. Each customer, regardless of the number of accounts held, will be allowed to complete only one ballot. 

I am a customer of Essex Savings Bank. How do I vote?

Customers may vote electronically by logging onto their Essex Savings Bank online banking account or through the app. Paper ballots are available at any of the Bank’s drive-through locations in Chester, Madison, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook and Essex.
