Taking Part in Family Action Day at the Capitol

Tuesday, February 7, marked the 4th Annual Family Action Day at the State Capitol. On this day, individuals living with intellectual or developmental disabilities and their families come to the Capitol to fight for the support they need. Senator Ted Kennedy was happy to welcome to the capitol many of our state’s leading champions for people with disabilities, including Patricia Bourne of SARAH, Inc. SARAH is an outstanding organization that serves hundreds of children and adults with disabilities living in communities across the Connecticut shoreline.
