National Voter Registration Day 2020

National Voter Registration Day will take place on September 22, 2020. This is a nonpartisan civic holiday celebrating our nation’s democracy.

Despite the ongoing global crisis, we have found ways to adjust and advance through these unpredictable circumstances. This year, we will not be hosting an in-person event for National Voter Registration Day. Instead, we will organize and engage voters through digital means. This is a new and unique online approach, in which we will work together to raise public awareness of voter registration options.

We are dedicated to keep the civic conversations going with our friends, families, and community members. Being a registered voter is more important than ever. This year marked two important historical milestones in the country. 

This year, society recognizes 30 years of progress in access and inclusion with The Americans with Disabilities Act. Promoting fairness and the rights of those with differing abilities is important, and it is essential that those we support and their families know about their rights to vote.

This year also marks the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which guarantees and protects a women’s constitutional right to vote. We honor and commemorate this historic milestone. We will continue to do our part to promote accurate information and voting resources to anyone who is interested.
